The Department of Public Works oversees all Town of Vernon roads, shoulders, signs parks and maintenance on all Town owned buildings.  Their tasks range from snowplowing to brush pickup, from crack filling to putting up stop signs.  If you see the Town's Department of Public Works employees working along the road, please slow down for their safety.
