The Town of Vernon prides itself on the quality of our
coaches.

Our past coaches have done a fantastic job of not only
coaching but also making sure all the players had fun and a learning
experience.

Some of the best coaches I’ve seen were parents who were
kicking and screaming as we dragged them into coaching.

Once they start coaching and realized how much fun it is,
they couldn’t believe we had to hold their first born hostage until they
agreed to coach.

So even if you never played or coached the sport before, we
will not leave you hanging.

I personally coach quite a few teams and I would not trade
the experience for anything.

The look in your child’s eyes when they get to say their
Mom/Dad is the coach far outweighs any bad referee’s call that someday will
cost you the ballgame.

So sign-up to be a coach, it’s a decision you won’t regret.
