TOV Candidates Forums Set For February 19th (Rescheduled From 2/12) & March 19th

Due to the National Weather Service Announcement for today 2-12-2019, of a Hazardous Winter Storm Warning of dangerous weather conditions, the February 12, 2019 Candidate Forum is rescheduled for February 19, 2019.  Same time and same place. 
Town of Vernon resident, Joe Reilly is pleased to announce that he requested and received approval from the Vernon Town Board to use the Town of Vernon Town Hall to host two Candidates Public Forums scheduled for Tuesday--February 12th* and Tuesday--March 19th** from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, moderated by Merl Wagner, to be held at the Vernon Town Hall located at W249S8910 Center Drive. The doors will open at 5:45pm. (*Back-up date Tuesday--February 19th / **Back-up date Wednesday--March 20th)

These two forums will give all Town of Vernon candidates an opportunity to introduce themselves to the public. In addition, the public will be given a chance to ask the candidate questions about their position on town government and any issues of concern.

There are three options for the public to submit their question(s):

  1. Question(s) can be sent to the Town of Vernon, in care of the "Candidates Forum" at W249S8910 Center Drive, Big Bend, WI 53103;
  2. Question(s) can be emailed to the moderator at; or
  3. For those attending the forum, questions can be written down & submitted the evening of the forum using index cards and pencils provided.
Remember, you do not have to give your name or address to submit a questions. All questions must be issue oriented.
The Candidates Forum will also be televised LIVE and available on YouTube and Spectrum 25/15.25/97.25 with rebroadcasting at 3:00am, Noon, 5:00pm and 10:00pm daily.

2019 Candidate Forums
