The Town Treasurer is an elected position and serves a two (2) year term. Her main duties include collecting property taxes, issuing dog licenses and overseeing the Town's monies

ANIMAL CONTROL

Residents are reminded the Animal Control Ordinance requires ALL animals to be confined to the owner's property unless the animal is on a leash or under the control of its owner.

DOG LICENSES

Town of Vernon Code 117 requires a Hobby Kennel License for more than 2 dogs. License Year begins January 1.
All dogs must be licensed by April 1, 2008 or there will be a $25.00 late fee.
Before you submit your application for a Dog License, be sure you sign the bottom of the form and include the vaccine and manufacturer numbers of rabies information.
Please make out a separate check for dog licenses.

INTERNET ACCESSIBILITY FOR TAX BILLS

You can access your tax bill on the internet by going to www.waukeshacounty.gov then, click on Treasurer, Tax Listing, (box on top left side), from there you should be able to access your bill by Tax Key or by Address.

TAX BILL

Receipts will be sent to you if you pay by mail or use the drop box and given to you if you pay in person. When making a payment make sure you send the top of the bill along with your payment. The drop box is still in place at the Town Hall W249S8910 Center Dr. and can be used for your convenience anytime of the day or night. Your payment will be receipted on the day it is received.
